Willie B. Hall

is a native of Jacksonville, Florida where he currently resides and is employed by Duval County Public Schools where he supports the 5000 Role Models of Excellence Project. Through Hall's works, he mentors & exposes minority boys in grades 3-12 to positive role models and experiences. Hall is also the Founder & President of Willie B. Hall Incorporated where he is a very sought-after freelance photographer, videographer, web designer, writer, and public speaker. Hall has had several of his articles and images published by several premiere publications. In addition, he previously served as a Community Columnist for the Florida Times-Union website. As a Community Columnists, he was enabled to share his thoughts, opinions, and experiences with the community via his column "The Forum".


Hall graduated from the Historic William Marion Raines High School (Raines) in Jacksonville, Florida. Hall furthered his education at Savannah State University (SSU) where he majored in Mass Communications. It was while attending SSU that Hall's passion for uplifting the community and addressing important issues of the day surfaced. He served as Coordinator of Press & Publicity for the NAACP Chapter 58D4, a staff writer and photographer for the “Tigers Roar” newspaper, a member of SSU’s Ambassadors organization, the marching band, Mass Communications Club, and the host of his own radio show, the "Tiger Forum". The "Tiger Forum" was a talk show he created and produced which aired throughout the city of Savannah, Georgia on WHCJ 90.3 FM. Through his show, Hall interviewed several talented and influential people, including national recording artist, community leaders, and entertainers.


Hall is known for his distinctive voice where he has served as the official announcer for several high school and college athletic and music programs. Currently, Hall serves at his alma mater Raines, as the Director of Student Activities where he directs the Royal Pageant and serves as the advisor to the Royal Court. Hall has worked with a team that has produced nine royal pageants at Raines over the years. One of his fondest memories of his work at Raines is sponsoring the re-chartering of The Rainesmen, a male honors organization that consists of students in grades 10-12.


On a personal note, he is an active member of Bethel Baptist Institutional Church, and he believes the most important thing one can do is to keep your priorities in perspective: Christ, Family, and Community.
